Jk Divyang Welfare Association is a Governing body in JK that is specifically designed to cater to Players with Disabilities. JK Divyang Welfare Association work for Physically challenged players since 2015, but officially registered under Ministry of cooperate affairs vide no U88900JK2024XXX016193 dated 18/06/2024 and is responsible for the development , Promotion and Management of different sports for persons with disabilities in JK. JK Divyang Welfare Association also Registered under Niti Ayog vide no JK/2024/0433490 dated 22/07/2024. JK Divyang Welfare Association having form 12A and 80G vide TAN No AMRJ14157D.
JK Divyang Welfare Association aims to provide platform to disabled Athletes to showcase their skills, compete at District and state Levels and contribute to the growth of cricket In JK. JK Divyang Welfare Association organizes various tournaments and events for disabled Athletes and also trains and coaches them to Improve their skills.
JK Divyang Welfare Association strong commitment to inclusivity and aims to make Cricket accessible to people with all kinds of disabilities. It run four differents categories of disability- wheelchair, standing, Blind, and deaf & Dumb. JKDWA also work in Para games for Physically challenged Athletes in JK for both Man and Women. JK Divyang Welfare Association ensures that all equipment's and facilities are available for all players, irrespective of their disability.
